Dreams & Their Symbolic Meanings

This morning, I recalled a dream about looking for my old classmates from school. I had a bulky plastic toy phone that was lurid bright yellow, that turned out to be useless when I tried to contact the others. A friend suggested transferring my SIM card to an old dual-SIM phone, which was way more practical.

I was wandering around an outdoor festival or fair of some sort that had food stalls with seating scattered about the place. Walking down a passageway that led to a fashion boutique, I spotted my mother following behind me. In the store, she picked up and tried out a dress that exposed her breasts. The shop housed clothing and accessories for the younger crowd, but my mother seemed oblivious to this.

My Interpretation

I’d been intensely delving into my starseed origins the past week or so, which explains the symbolic significance of me attempting to ‘reconnect’ with ‘my old friends’ = fellow starseeds. The tacky toy phone that I had reflected the impracticality of the ‘technology’ I was currently using – plastic = ‘superficial’. A trusty old phone is what works – that’s ‘old technology’ or what is known and familiar and well-used from the past.

Makes plenty of sense to me.
